Receiving "Error loading type library/DLL" When Using ActiveX Automation with Microsoft Excel and LabWindows/CVI

Problem:
I created an application in LabWindows/CVI that communicates with Microsoft Excel via ActiveX Automation. However everytime I launch a new Excel application, I receive error -2147312566 with the message "Error loading type library/DLL". The installation of Microsoft Excel was normal and its seems to be working correctly. Why am I getting this error and how can I resolve it?

Solution:
This ActiveX error is typically associated with registration of the software (i.e. Windows registry). Unregister and then register excel.exe located at

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OfficeXX
