Problem: Is NI LabVIEW compatible with the latest version of Mac OS X, version 10.5 (Leopard)? Solution: NI LabVIEW 8.2, 8.2.1, 8.5, 8.5.1, and 8.6 are fully supported on Mac OS 10.5. If any issue with LabVIEW running on Mac OS X Leopard is encountered, please report it to National Instruments Support so that the issue can be reported to R&D for investigation, and for help finding a way to work around the problem. Because Leopard was released during the development of LabVIEW 8.5, LabVIEW versions prior to 8.5 were not fully tested with Leopard and some Leopard specific issues may exist . In practice, there have only been a small number of issues have been discovered, and fixing them is being treated with priority. National Instruments recommends using LabVIEW 8.5 or later with Mac OS 10.5. Please refer to the Operating System Specific section of the LabVIEW Known Issues Document in your version of LabVIEW for a list of the issues and workarounds for those issues that affect Leopard systems.
