Problem: How do I change the copper thermal relief style in Ultiboard? Solution: To change the thermal relief style, double click on your copper area and select the Copper Area tab. On the Thermal Relief Style field, click on the drop down arrow and select the desired style. Click Apply and OK to change the default style. Since Ultiboard allows the flexibility of having different thermal relief styles for one copper area, it is possible that the pad setting will overriding your copper area setting. If there is a thermal relief on your board that is different than what was set, double click on the pad, select the Thermal Relief tab, and change the setting to ‘Use Polygon Thermal Relief Settings’.
