SC-2345, SC-2350, and CA-1000 Chassis Size and Panelette Capacity Hardware: SCC>>Carriers>>SC-2345, SCC>>Carriers>>SC-2350
Problem: How many SCC panelettes can fit on each side of a SC-2345, SC-2350, or CA-1000 chassis? Solution: The total width available for panelette connections in these carriers is 27cm, which does not include 2 removable 1.5cm filler panels on each side. Using both the front and back of the chassis with all filler panels removed provides 60cm of available width. The panelettes themselves are 3, 6, or 9cm wide, depending on the type. The number of screw holes used to mount the panelette determines its size, 3cm per hole. This yields a maximum of 20, 3cm panelettes. Note: For the SC-2345 with rear connector, only the front face accepts panelettes, halving the total number. Additionally, the SC-2345 with hinged lid (white version) does not support panelettes.
