Problem: When I use the ELVIS Digital Writer Express VI to write to a digital line that is already high, the line drops low before reaching the expected level. What can I do to change this behavior? Solution: When the Digital Writer Express VI is written to, the default behavior is to initially reset the output. To keep the VI from resetting before updating the line, run the VI in a While Loop with the stop condition of the loop wired to the stop terminal of the Digital Writer Express VI, as shown below.
