Incorrect Readings in Differential Mode on Analog Input Channels 0 and 16 of the SCB-68

Hardware: Counter/Timers (TIO)>>Connectivity>>SCB-68

Problem:
I am trying to read from all 16 differential channels of my NI-6259 M Series board using the SCB-68 as an accessory. I get perfect readings from all my channels except AI0 and AI16. On AI0 and AI16, I read values between 0.1 and 0.2 regardless of the values I input on these channels. Why am I seeing this behavior and how can I fix it?

Solution:
Both the AI0 and AI16 channels of the NI-6259 map to position 68 of the SCB-68 connector block. That is why you are seeing the same behavior on both channels. One possible reason why you are reading these values on AI0 and AI16 is due to the switch settings of your SCB-68. If the temperature sensor is enabled, it will be routed to differential channel 0. Therefore, the 0.1 and 0.2 values you were reading were related to the temperature sensor. Check the position of the jumpers on your SCB 68. In order to correct this behavior, set your jumpers to the factory default settings (see the SCB-68 User Manual, Appendix B, page B-2).
