Why Does My Host FPGA FXP Read Write Control Node Cause an Error "Xnode Is Not Executable"?

Primary Software: LabVIEW Modules>>FPGA Module
Primary Software Version: 8.5
Primary Software Fixed Version: 8.5.1
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
My Host FPGA Interface Read/Write Control Node is reading or writing to a fixed point control or indicator on my FPGA VI.  However, my host VI has a broken run arrow.  When I list the errors, the error says the Xnode is not Executable.  When I double click this error, it jumps to my host FPGA Read/Write Control node that contains the fixed point data type.  Why is this happening?

Solution:
This is a known issue when using LabVIEW 8.5 along with NI-RIO 2.4.x.   This issue occurs with FXP data types in FPGA Interface Read/Write Control nodes because NI-RIO 2.4.x installs support for LabVIEW 8.5.1 that causes conflicts with Scripting Read/Write Control nodes using Fixed-Point Data Types.  Upgrading to LabVIEW 8.5.1 and re-installing NI-RIO 2.4.x or later will fix this issue.
