Why Won't My Mac Application Run on My Deployment Machine?

Primary Software: LabVIEW Development Systems>>Professional Development System
Primary Software Version: 8.2
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: LabVIEW Toolkits>>Application Builder

Problem:

I have created an application using LabVIEW Application Builder on my Mac computer. Although I am able to run my application on my development machine, when I try to run it on another Mac computer, I get an error that the .app file is not a valid LabVIEW file.

Solution:

Verify that you are running your application strictly on PowerPC Macs. If you are receiving this error, it is likely you are attempting to run your created application on an Intel Mac. National Instruments does not yet fully support Intel Macs. If you would like to run your application on both a PowerPC and an Intel Mac, you may consider building a Universal Binary Application with LabVIEW
