cFP-180x Firmware Upgrade Fails on the 10.0.54 Subnet

Problem:
The firmware upgrade fails when my cFP-180x is on the 10.0.54 subnet.  It begins to upgrade and then terminates.  How do I get around this?

Solution:
You should set up the host and cFP-180x on an isolated hub. Once the firmware has been fully upgraded, you should be able to revert your original setup.
