NI-488.2 GPIB Text-Based Application Header and Object File Locations

Problem:
I am writing a text-based application and I need to find the appropriate header and objects files to create an executable.  Where are these files?

Solution:
These files have been placed in a common location within your file heirarchy.  Simply navigate to the following directory:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\ExternalCompilerSupport\C

This is the top most level for the header and objects files.  If you need to locate a specific header file, simply navigate to the include folder.

Similarly, you can obtain the object files by navigating to the appropriate library (e.g., lib32 or lib64) and choose between Borland or MS Visual Studio support, such as lib32»msvc.
