Why Aren't Some of My CompactRIO Modules Detected in LabVIEW 7.x?

Primary Software: LabVIEW Modules>>FPGA Module
Primary Software Version: 1.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A
Hardware: CompactRIO

Problem:
I have some CompactRIO modules that are not detected while other modules are detected just fine in the Embedded Project Manager in LabVIEW FPGA 7.x. I have the latest version of the RIO driver installed. What is the problem?

Solution:
NI-RIO 2.0 is backwards compatible with LabVIEW 7.x, but only for CompactRIO modules that were released prior to LabVIEW 8.0. Many newer cRIO modules require LabVIEW 8.0. Refer to the linked document for the minimum required versions for both NI-RIO and the LabVIEW FPGA Module for each CompactRIO module. Thus any modules requiring LabVIEW 8.0 will not be detected in prior versions of the LabVIEW FPGA Module.
