Problem: Which wire in the R6868 ribbon cable maps to which pin on the connector? Solution: If you are looking at the connector with the long side on top, pin 1 is the right top pin. The first wire on the right side (the one that is typically colored blue) is the wire that corresponds to pin 1. The second wire in corresponds to pin 35 and the third corresponds to pin 2. The fourth wire corresponds to pin 36 and so forth... The same pin-to-wire configuration is true for most all of our ribbon cables such as the following: R1005050, R6850, SH68-68-EP, SH68-68-D1, NB1, NB5, and CB100.
