What Is the DataSocket Server MaxItems Setting?

Primary Software: Other NI Software>>DataSocket
Primary Software Version: 4.2
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem: What is the DataSocket Server MaxItems Setting?

Solution: DataSocket MaxItems refers to the number of DataSocket items (variables) that you can create on one DataSocket Server. For example:
    dstp://localhost/wave is 1 item
    dstp://localhost/sine is 1 item
    dstp://localhost/cosine is 1 item

The maximum for MaxItems is 1000. MaxItems does not determine how many readers can read from a DataSocket server. For example, if MaxItems was set to 100, you could have 300 readers reading from up to 100 items on one DataSocket server.
