Primary Software Version: 2009
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
What's the best way to get an image of my signal in SignalExpress? In SignalExpress 3.0 and below, with the Data View active, I can go to File»Export and select Copy Data View Image. In later versions, however, that menu option does not exist. What are my options?

Solution:
If you have the full version of SignalExpress, you can go to the Project Documentation tab and click and drag a signal into that document view. Doing so will produce a clean black and white image which can be printed within a SignalExpress report or copied in a screen shot for use in another program.

The Copy Data View Image feature is not available in SignalExpress 2009 as it's functionality/quality was not up to par with other methods of obtaining screen shots specially with the introduction of the new Viewers in SignalExpress 2009. The recommended workaround is to use Alt + Print Screen or a 3rd-party screen shot program to get an image of the Data View. Double clicking the title of a display will open it in a new window, hence making it easier to use Alt + Print Screen to get the screen shot of a particular display.
