RIO Startup Wizard Does Not Support RT Desktop Targets

Problem:
In the RIO Startup Wizard, why is there no option to add a RT Desktop Target containing PCI R-series cards?

Solution:
The Startup Wizard does not support RT Desktop Targets.  Similarly, the Startup Wizard does not currently support Network Computer/Device items. 

There is a straightforward workaround available by following these steps:
  1. Select PXI/Local in the Startup Wizard
  2. After the wizard completes, create a new RT Desktop target in the project
  3. Drag the FPGA target from the target created by the wizard to your RT Desktop target
  4. Remove the PXI RT system from the project
