TestStand Deployment Utility Generates Internal Error When Locking VIs in Project Libraries or Global VIs

Problem:
When I try to deploy LabVIEW global VIs or VIs in project libraries from the TestStand deployment utility and I request that these files be locked, the deployment utility generates an internal error.  What does this internal error mean, and can I password protect these files when I deploy them?

Solution:
In TestStand 3.5 and 4.0.1f1, there is is a known problem with the deployment utility that causes these errors.  Please download and install the appropriate patch for your version of TestStand from the links below to fix this behavior. After installing the patch you will be able to password protect your files when deploying them through the deployment utility.
