Steps for setting up the FPT-1015

Problem: What are the steps for setting up the FPT-1015? In addition to the fact that the manual for this product has a name which does not correspond to the production, it is not accurate in its installation instructions for the FPT-1015.

Solution: The steps for setting up the FPT-1015 are as follows:

  1. Connect the following cables: screen cable (connected from the HMI to the computer), USB cable (connected from HMI to computer), and power cable.

  2. Install the driver for the HMI: Drivers National Instrument's Human Machine Interface (HMI) Products (PPC, FPT, TPC)

  3. Open the control panel for the HMI by clicking the Start menu » All Programs » PenMount USB Utilities » Control Panel

  4. Click on the Standard Calibrate Procedure, and follow the instructions
