I need to set up NI myRIO as an access point. What steps should I take to do this?

To use this feature as fo NI-RIO 13.1:
  1. Install NI-RIO 13.1 or newer.
  2. Launch the Getting Started Wizard to install NI-RIO driver onto NI myRIO
  3. Open Measurement & Automation Explorer
  4. Navigate to the Network Settings tab for the myRIO you are using.
  5. Click on Wireless Mode and choose Create a Wireless Network.

6. You also have the ability to create your own SSID. Configure the settings you would like and click Save.
7. You will now see a wireless IP address.

7. You can connect up to 6 devices (development PC, tablet, phone, etc) to this IP address.

Additional Information

NI-RIO13.1 has added access point support for NI myRIO. This means that myRIO can now generate an IP address which other devices can connect to and removes the necessity of connecting to a third party network.
