Problem: Every time I open LabWindows/CVI it opens with the last project that I had been working on. Is there a way to open LabWindows/CVI with a blank workspace? Solution: You can get this functionality by using a command line prompt to open LabWindows/CVI with a new project, which will result in an empty workspace. If calling LabWindows/CVI from the Run... command line you would enter
"C:\Program Files\National Instruments\CVI81\cvi.exe" -newproject in the command line prompt. Adjust the file path if you are using a different version of LabWindows/CVI. In Windows you can adjust your shorcut links to include command line functions so that the behavior of your shorcut link will change accordingly. To do this:
