Why do I get Error -70006 When Trying to Use Breakpoints with Analog Feedback? Primary Software: Driver Software>>NI-Motion/FlexMotionPrimary Software Version: 5.2 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A Hardware: Motion Control>>Controllers>>PCI-7343, Motion Control>>Controllers>>FW-7344, Motion Control>>Controllers>>PCI-7334, Motion Control>>Controllers>>PXI-7334, Motion Control>>Controllers>>ENET-7344, Motion Control>>Controllers>>PCI-7344
Problem: The 7344/7334 currently support Breakpoints only with incremental or quadrature encoders. They do not support Breakpoints on an axis that is mapped to Analog feedback, such as a potentiometer. If you try to use them in this way, you will get: Error # -70006 occurred at Configure Breakpoint (flex_configure_breakpoint) Solution: Use an incremental encoder with the axis mapped to an encoder for feedback.
