Connecting a Modbus Object to LPT1 Hangs Lookout With No Hardware Connected

Problem:
When I create a Modbus or other type of object in Lookout and connect it to LPT port, Lookout hangs.

Solution:
Connecting an object to LPT port will cause Lookout to hang if there is no device connected to the LPT port. This is caused by timeout on the LPT port.

Make sure your hardware is connected to the LPT port before setting the port for the object.
