TestStand Version 4.0 does not use Default Value for ActiveX Parameters Correctly

Problem:

I have created an ActiveX module in TestStand Version 4.0 with a parameter that has the Default check box selected, but the typed entry in the Value field is used instead. 

Why is the default value not used?

Solution:

This is a known issue with TestStand Version 4.0.  When an ActiveX server is called directly from a TestStand step in TestStand 4.0, the step does not honor the Default check box.  This means that if you click the Default check box of a parameter that also has a typed entry in the Value field, the typed entry will be used instead.

This issue is fixed in TestStand version 4.0.1.  This version can be downloaded from the National Instruments Service Resource Center.
