GPIB-VXI/C Addressing A24 Address Range ErrorHardware: GPIB>>Plug-in Controllers>>GPIB-VXI/C
Problem: I am trying to setup a new GPIB-VXI/C board but when I try to access a specific A24 address range I get either of the following errors: "Specified offset is not accessible from this hardware." or "The given session or object reference does not support this operation."I do not have these errors with other GPIB-VXI/C. How can I fix it? Solution: There was a change on some default switch settings on the GPIB-VXI/C which causes the inconsistent results from previous GPIB-VXI/C. The installed RAM selection may not be set properly and therefore the A24 memory ranges accessible are different. If you try to access a set of A24 address range that is not enabled you may get those erros. This can be fixed by setting switches S6 and S7 to the correct location based on the Intalled memory of the device and the address range they need to access.
The complete switch information and location can be found in the GPIB-VXI/C manual. Related Links: Product Manuals: GPIB-VXI/C User Manual
