Why Can’t I Delete My Citadel Database?

Primary Software: Utility Software>>Citadel ODBC Driver
Primary Software Version: 3.0.9
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
I can’t delete my Citadel database in MAX or from the Windows Explorer. I am told:

The operation cannot be completed because the resource is in use by another client.

Solution:
A process is currently using the database either remotely or on the local machine. In most cases, the process using the database is variable process on the local machine. To ensure that all variable processes are stopped, you can use the variable manager to stop all processes.

1.       Go to Start>>Programs>>National Instruments>>Variable Manager
2.       Right-click on the your system and select: Stop All Processes
3.       Delete your database
