What Do I Do If I Am Developing an IVI Driver for an Instrument That Does Not Have a Template?

Problem: What do I do if I am developing an IVI specific driver for an instrument that does not have a template?

Solution: Select the General Purpose template and start from there. You can still develop IVI specific drivers for these instruments by following the guidelines in the IVI Instrument Driver Developer’s Guide provided with LabWindows/CVI. Add your instrument specific attributes and callback functions using the Attribute Editor.
