Using Analog Waveform Editor with NI-DAQ Boards Primary Software: Other NI Software>>Analog Waveform EditorPrimary Software Version: 1.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: 1.1 Secondary Software: N/A Hardware: Multifunction DAQ (MIO)
Problem: I have Analog Waveform Editor, and I would like to build waveforms to use with my Multi-Function DAQ (MIO) and/or Analog Output (AO) boards. How do I go about doing this? Solution: If you have Analog Waveform Editor version 1.1, you can select the National Instruments Multifunction DAQ and Analog Output option on the New Waveform menu. However, if you have version 1.0 of the Analog Waveform Editor, this selection does not exist. Instead, choose the Custom Module option, and specify a Minimum Sample Length and Data Sample Quantum of 2. This will ensure that you create a waveform which your MIO or AO board is capable of generating.
