Problem: After installing Ultiboard 9 Service Pack 1 (9.1.219) I have noticed that my footprints pins have incorrect numbering. How can I fix this? Solution: In Service Pack 1 of Ultiboard 9 you may notice that as you manually place subsequent footprints on the Ultiboard design area, the pin numbering for each component increases rather than having the proper naming convention. For example if you place a 4 pin footprint onto the design area, the pins will be numbered 1 through 4. Now in placing a second 4 pin component you will see that the pins are numbered 5 through 8 instead of the correct 1 through 4. This problem has been addressed with Electronics Workbench Service Pack 1a Update and is available both online and through the SUU upgrade utility. To correctly renumber the footprint pins on your layout designs created with this Service Pack 1 select Tools >> Update Shapes. Related Links: Attachments:
