When You Load LVM Files, Time Channels are No Longer Created. Primary Software: DIAdemPrimary Software Version: 10.1 Primary Software Fixed Version: 10.1 Secondary Software: DIAdem
Problem: In previous DIAdem versions, time channels were created for the data channels when LVM files were loaded. DIAdem 10.1 does not create the time channels. Solution: When you load
LVM files,
you now generate waveform channels. Therefore, the additional time
channels
that were created in previous versions are no longer necessary and are
not
generated. Whether DIAdem
creates
the data as waveform channels (new process) when it loads LVM files, or
creates
data channels with an additional time channel (old process), depends on
the
installed DataPlugin. DIAdem 10.1 provides the DataPlugin file for both
processes. In standard DIAdem installations, these DataPlugin files are
saved
in the following folder: "C:\Programs\National
Instruments\Shared\Usi\bin\". The
"uspLVM.uri" file supports the new process, and the
"uspLVM_TimeChannels.uri"
file supports the old process. If you double-click one of these files,
you can
install the selected DataPlugin and specify which process DIAdem uses
to load
LVM files. Refer to the
DIAdem help
under "Channel Types in DIAdem" for more information about waveform
channels, and under "DataPlugin: General Information" for more
information about DataPlugins. Related Links: Attachments:
