Why Does the Properties Dialog for CAN I/O Node in LabVIEW FPGA 8.5 Hang LabVIEW?Hardware: PXI/CompactPCI>>Controllers
Problem: If I try to change the data type for my FPGA CAN I/O node within LabVIEW FPGA 8.5, this will hang the LabVIEW user interface and I have to terminate LabVIEW using the Windows Task Manager. Why does this happen and how can I fix it? Solution: To fix this problem, download and install NI-RIO 2.4 or NI-985x 1.3.1. See the download links below. NI-RIO 2.4 for LabVIEW 8.5 includes the NI-985x driver for the CAN C-series modules.
