When I Run the NI435X Getting Started Example I Receive an Error Referring to the Accessory

Hardware: Modular Instruments>>High-Precision DAQ (Dataloggers)

Problem: When running the NI435X Getting Started.vi there is an "Error -1306 that is explained as NI435X Check Accessory."

or

When running the NI435X_Getting_Started example in Visual Basic, there is an "Error -1316 in NI435X_Set_Auto_Zero: ERROR: No autozero on accessory."

Solution: The accessory connected to the 435x needs to be configured in MAX to support these functions. To configure the accessory, do the following:
  1. Open MAX and press F5 to refresh
  2. Expand the Devices and Interfaces Tab
  3. Right click on the 435x board and select "Properties"
  4. Select the Accessory Tab
  5. Select your accessory in the Drop down box.


The device should now be configured appropriately for your accessory and measurement.
