Source File Text Not Color Coded in LabWindows/CVI

Primary Software: LabWindows/CVI Development Systems>>Base Package
Primary Software Version: 7.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
I have a source code file (.h or .c) that I opened in LabWindows/CVI. I know that LabWindows/CVI has color options to show keywords and comments in various colors but all my text appears in black. Why is the text of my source file not color coded in LabWindows/CVI?

Solution:
The setting to apply syntax coloring is located under Options » Syntax Coloring. You must make sure this option is checked in order for the keywords and comments of your source file to be color coded. You can also change default colors for keywords and comments under Options » Colors.
