Dimensions for the PCI-7030/* Boards Hardware: Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>Real-Time>>PCI-7030/6030E
Problem: The National Instruments 2000 Catalog and the manual for the PCI-7030/6030E, the PCI-7030/6040E, and the PCI-7030/6533 only mention the dimensions of the 7030 board. What are the dimensions for the daughter boards? Solution: The daughter board dimensions are the same as the PXI version for that board. If you have a PCI-7030/6040E, then the dimensions for the 6040E daughter board are the same as the PXI-6040E (you can find this in the catalog). Here is some info on the width of the combined PCI-7030/* board: The inside spacing between the boards is .438 inches (7/16" standoff). Each board is 0.062 inches thick. This means the overall width is approximately 0.562 inches plus the maximum component height of the components on both of the outside surfaces. These dimensions are within the PCI specifications.
