Problem: I am designing my Lookout and/or LabVIEW DSC Module application and I would like to limit the number of failed attempts a user gets when trying to log in so that when he or she reaches a certain number, the system locks up. Is there any built-in feature in Lookout or the LabVIEW DSC Module that allows this? Solution: Currently there is no way to limit the number of times a user can try to log in with the incorrect password either in Lookout or the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Module.
