What Digital Lines are Accessible for PCI-6259 with BNC-2110? Hardware: Multifunction DAQ (MIO)>>Connector Blocks>>BNC-2110
Problem: I am using two BNC-2110 terminal blocks for digital input or digital output with my PCI-6259 M series DAQ board. The installation instructions do not state the PCI-6259 is compatible with the BNC-2110 and there are more outputs than listed on the breakout box. What are the corresponding pinouts and are all the digital outputs available? Solution: First, be aware that not all outputs are available when using the BNC-2110 with the 6259; 46 of the 48 DIO pins are accessible. Second, if both connector blocks are used and a counter is required, you must connect to ctr0 on BNC Connector Block 1 using PFI 12 from the PCI-6259. The counter output on Connector Block 2 is a digital I/O pin (pin 0.28) and not a counter. ctr1 is a digital I/O pin on Counter Block 1 and on Counter Block 2. The following table lists which pins are accessible through each BNC-2110 connected to the PCI-6259:
Connector block 1 (PCI-6259 connector 0)
