Reflection on the Serial Lines for the PXI-8430

Hardware: Serial>>RS-485>>PXI-8431/2

Problem:
I am currently using the PXI-8430 and am seeing reflection on each of the serial lines. This is causing my program to function incorrectly. I have tried the COM port on the front of the PXI controller and do not see any reflection. What could be causing this issue?

Solution:
This issue has been seen when using an incorrect cable with the PXI-8430. Ensure that you are using a RS-232 cable to connect to the instrument and not a RS-485 cable. This should resolve the reflection problems that are seen.
