Value Changed Event Does Not Fire for CWNumEdit Control When the Enter Key Is Pressed

Primary Software: Measurement Studio>>Visual Basic Support
Primary Software Version: 7.1
Primary Software Fixed Version: 8.0
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem: I am using the Measurement Studio 7.1 ActiveX CWNumEdit control in Microsoft Visual C++. When I type in a value and press the Enter key, the Value Changed event does not fire. The event does fire if I use the Up and Down arrows. The control works fine in Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. How do I fix this?

Solution:
This issue exists in the 7.1 and 8.0 versions of the ActiveX CWNumEdit control. This has been fixed for version 8.0.1.

You can obtain the newest version of Measurement Studio ActiveX controls by installing the Measurement Studio Update for Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual C++ 6.0. Refer to the link below for more information.
