Set VI Logger X-Axis Width for Real Time Data Chart

Problem: I am using VI Logger, and I want to be able to set the X-Axis width for the Real Time Data Chart so I see a predetermined amount of data when I run my task. To set my X-Axis Width, I right click on the graph, select properties, and set the Width under "Groups". When I run the task, these properties are reset to the default values.

Solution: To get the desired X-Axis width, you will need to follow the steps below.

1. Run the task
2. Right click on the graph
3. Select Properties
4. Set the desired X-Axis width
5. Select OK
6. Right click on the graph
7. Select Restore X-Axis width

Now the desired X-Axis width settings will be visible on the Real Time Data Chart.


Note: This setting cannot be saved from one run to another.
