Upgrading SignalExpress Tektronix Edition to LabVIEW SignalExpress Results in Limited Functionality Primary Software: LabVIEW Signal Express>>Development SystemPrimary Software Version: 2.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: I own SignalExpress Tektronix Edition (or SignalExpress 1.2). I recently installed some National Instruments software and upgraded my version of SignalExpress from the Tektronix Edition to the newest version, LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.5. After the upgrade, I tried to use my SignalExpress Tektronix Edition serial number to activate LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.5 and it did not work. I had full functionality of the product for 30 days, and now I see a message stating that my trial period of LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.5 Full Edition is over and I now have LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.5 Limited Edition. What happened and how do I get back all of the functionality I had in the SignalExpress Tektronix Edition? Solution: If you installed a version of LabVIEW, NI-DAQmx, or the NI Driver CD from August 2007 or later, your version of SignalExpress may have been upgraded from SignalExpress Tektronix Edition to the new LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.5. During the installation you had the option to de-select installation of LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.5, but by default this option is selected. The full functionality of LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.5 should have been available for 30 days along with your Tektronix steps. After the 30 day trial of LabVIEW SignalExpress 2.5 Full Edition expires, you can choose one of the following options to continue using your SignalExpress Tektronix Edition steps:
