I Am Not Getting the Signal I Expect After Filtering in BioBenchPrimary Software: Other NI Software>>BioBenchPrimary Software Version: 1.0 Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A Secondary Software: N/A
Problem: When I filter my data in BioBench, I am not getting the signal I expect. What could be the problem? Solution: When looking at a filtered signal in the time domain, the filtered signal may not appear exactly how you expect. It takes several different frequencies (sine waves) to construct an ecg waveform. Even though an ecg shows a heart rate of 60 bpm, that ecg still contains thousands of frequencies. Therefore, using a Low Pass Filter with a cutoff frequency of 50 Hz will not necessarily filter out the entire ecg waveform.
