SignalExpress 1.0: DAQPad-6015/6016 and USB-9211/9215 Support

Problem: Is it possible to use either the DAQPad-6015/6016, the USB-9211/9215, or the USB-9211A/9215A devices in SignalExpress 1.0?

Solution: Here is a list of the supported hardware with SignalExpress 1.0:

• NI M Series and E Series DAQ (NI-DAQmx only)


• NI High-Speed Digitizers


• NI Signal Generators


• NI Dynamic Signal Acquisition (DSA)


• NI Analog Output


• Third-party devices (*Requires downloading or creating a LabVIEW based user-defined step)

The DAQPad-6015, DAQPad-6016, USB-9211A, and USB-9215A are supported by NI-DAQmx. They will be directly supported in SignalExpress with the DAQmx Generate or Acquire steps.

The USB-9211 and USB-9215 are supported only in NI-DAQmx Base. Since NI-DAQmx Base is not directly supported by SignalExpress 1.0, you will need to create a SignalExpress User Defined Step to allow for use of the USB-9211/9215 devices in SignalExpress 1.0.
