Problem: When I try to install NI-FieldPoint 5.0.1 driver for LabVIEW 8.2.1 I get a message that the LabVIEW version and the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) version are newer than the version of driver. How do I fix this? Solution: When you run the setup for the driver, select to install support for LabVIEW 8.2 instead of 8.2.1. Then the installation process will go through and you will have FieldPoint support for 8.2.1. You can verify the successful installation by opening LabVIEW and searching for the FieldPoint VIs.
