Routing Signals from the NI 2501/2503 to the NI 4060?Hardware: Switches>>Multiplexer/Matrix>>PXI-2503
Problem: How do I route signals from the NI 2501/2503 Matrix Switch module for PXI to an external device, such as the NI 4060 Digital Mulitmeter (DMM)? Solution: National Instruments provides a terminal block (TB-2605) and a cable (BAN4-to-LV6) for routing signals from an NI 2501/2503 module to an external device through AB0. The terminal block mounts to the front of the Switch module, and the cable connects the terminal block to the NI 4060 DMM. In order to route your signal to the front connector, you need to connect your channel to COM0, then connect COM0 to AB0. Both front connectors expose AB0, which can be used to expand matrices or multiplexers across multiple PXI Switch modules.
