Visual C++ Example Links Found in Measurement Studio Reference Help No Longer Work

Primary Software: Measurement Studio>>Visual C++ Support
Primary Software Version: 8.1.2
Primary Software Fixed Version: N/A
Secondary Software: N/A

Problem:
I have opened up the Measurement Studio Reference Help under Start»All Programs»National Instruments»Measurement Studio for Visual Studio 6»Help. I then navigate to the Visual Studio C++ Help»Reference topic under the Contents tab. Under each library, there is an Examples section which contains links to the C++ examples. When I attempt to click on the Load example in VC++ or Run example links, I receive an error stating

Requested file was not found.

What's going on and how can I fix this problem?

Solution:
Prior to Measurement Studio 8.1.2, the Visual C++ 6 examples were installed to a subfolder of the Measurement Studio folder, which was typically under the Program Files folder. As of Measurement Studio 8.1.2 and later, the examples are installed to a subfolder of the Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents folder on Windows XP and the Users\Public\Documents directory on Windows Vista. Most of the examples are organized by class library. However, the Apps example subfolder also includes examples that demonstrate how to build a complete measurement application with Measurement Studio.

The Measurement Studio Reference Help was not updated to accommodate the change in example locations and thus the links will not work. In order to workaround this problem, the shipping examples must be copied into the location that the Help is looking at. For example, if the operating system was Windows XP, then you would copy the examples from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\National Instruments\MStudioVS6\VC\Examples to C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudio\VC\Examples
