Black Reference Voltage Level of the PCI-1405 and NI-1411Hardware: Image Acquisition (IMAQ)>>Analog Image Devices>>PCI-1405, Image Acquisition (IMAQ)>>Analog Image Devices>>PCI-1411
Problem: Previously, I had a PCI-1407 and in the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) I was able to set both the white and black reference voltage levels. I have since purchased a PCI-1405 and a PCI-1411, but only the white reference level appears in MAX. What is the black reference level set to on these frame grabbers, and am I able to change it? Solution: For these two frame grabbers, the black reference voltage is locked at 0, and cannot be changed. Because this reference is locked at 0 volts, the white reference voltage has a locked minimum of 0.3 volts. This is a hardware limit of the frame grabbers.
