Problem: I downloaded the evaluation copy of Measurement Studio, but I cannot find any instrumentation libraries. I thought Measurement Studio had a wizard for Data Acquition and VISA? Where can I find it? Solution: The Measurement Studio Evaluation software on our website does not include the instrumentation libraries as they are actually provided by driver software. You need to download the Device Driver CD as well to install the Instrument I/O Assistant and the DAQ Assistant. The Device Driver CD can be found at http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/view/p/id/848/lang/en. Note that the assistants will not install with specific driver downloads such as DAQmx or VISA; you need to use the Device Driver CD (which would ship with the software). After installing the Device Driver CD, you will have two additional templates available: VISA Task and DAQ Component. To add these templates to your project, right-click on your project and select Add»New Item. Related Links: Attachments:
