How Can I Fix Error 32804 at FP Read VI?

Hardware: FieldPoint>>Controllers/Network Modules

Problem:
I create a LabVIEW Project in LabVIEW 8.0 or higher. Then I add a remote target to my project – Ethernet or Real-Time controller. I can see all my modules and all my channels. If I drag a channel from the project to the block diagram of a blank VI, LabVIEW generates FP Read VI code for me. I create an indicator to display the data that I want to read from a given channel. If I delete one of the modules (or the entire remote target) and then add it back to the project, and repeat the steps for reading a channel, I get  Error 32804 at runtime. How can I fix this?

Solution:
Follow the below steps to solve the issue:
  1. Remove the remote target completely from the project
  2. Save the project
  3. Close out of LabVIEW
  4. Save your FieldPoint configuration (.iak) file in MAX
  5. Start LabVIEW
  6. Open your project
  7. Add the remote target
The other option is to create a new project and then add the remote target.
