Problem: My NI 4472 does not appear in the list of Traditional NI-DAQ Devices in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX). Why does MAX not detect my device? Solution: If you are using an NI 4472 revision H or later with Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy), you must use Traditional NI-DAQ version 7.4 or later. The NI 4472 revision H added a feature (low frequency alias rejection) that required major modifications to the Traditional NI-DAQ driver. If your NI 4472 does not appear in MAX and you are using an older version of NI-DAQ, install the latest version of NI-DAQ from the Drivers and Updates page on www.ni.com (linked below).
