Why Is My Motion Controller Not Controlling My Motor?Hardware: Motion Control>>Power Drives
Problem: I have the settings correct in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX), and I am using the interactive settings in MAX to control the motor, but the motor is not moving. What could be the cause of this behavior? Solution: Check to make sure your wiring connections are correct between your motion controller and your drive and between your drive and your motor. The NI 7344 and NI 7334 both have two small 68 pin connectors on the front of the board. One for the connectors is for the digital lines and another connector is for the motion control lines. Make sure you have not accidentally connected your motion control lines for your drive to the digital connector on the motion controller. It is not common but a few people have also managed to connect the micro 68 connector to the motion controller upside down. Make sure that the sloping angle of the connector and cable are the same.
