How Do I Save Images With Vision Builder for Automated Inspection?

Problem: I do not see a step to save images in Vision Builder for Automated Inspection. Is there some way of saving images to disk in Vision Builder for Automated Inspection?
Solution: Yes, you can save images to disk from any step that generates images as its result.
In Vision Builder AI Version 3.0:
- Click Image Logging under the Inspection Steps: Use Additional Tools Tab.
- The popup menu will show the steps with images as results, select the step whose result you want to log. Refer to 3. in the image below.
- Select whether you want all the images to be logged or only if the inspection fails and click on Setup. This will launch the Image Log File Parameters popup menu. Refer to 4. and 5. in the image below.
- Specify the name location where you want to save the results, the image file's Name Prefix, the format of the image and other information. Refer to 6 in the image below. Once you are done select OK.
- Images will be logged when you run the inspection in the Inspection Interface.
In Vision Builder AI Version 2.6 or earlier:
- After you have configured your inspection select Configure Inputs/Outputs... from the Tools menu. This will bring up a menu for configuring inspection inputs and outputs.
- In the Inspection Output section select Image Logging and check the checkbox. With Image Logging selected click on Setup. This will bring up the Image Logging Setup popup menu. Refer to 1. and 2. in the image below.
- Follow steps 2-5 for VBAI Version 3.0 above.
