How Do I Control the SCC-RLY01 with My DAQ Board?

Hardware: SCC>>Modules>>SCC-RLY01, SCC, SCC>>Carriers>>SC-2345, SCC>>Carriers>>SC-2350

Problem:
I have an SC-2345 carrier with a SCC-RLY01 installed in one of the DIO slots. How do I open and close the relay?

Solution:
The SCC-RLY01 module is controlled by digital lines on port 0 of an MIO DAQ card. As described on page 3 of the SCC-RLY01 user guide (linked below) the modules installed in socket number J(X+9) of the carrier will be controlled by port 0 line "X" of the DAQ card.

When programming for the module you should address the DAQ card's "DevN/port0/lineX" lines to control the relays rather than using the "SCCModN/lineX" syntax found with most other SCC modules. A digital output task that addresses the appropriate lines or ports on the DAQ board is all that is required to control the relay modules.

Instructions for making connections to the SCC-RLY01 for control by positive logic are linked below.
